Project Title: First Contact Engineering, LLC Web Site
Title of your project. Keep it short and to the point.

Project Summary:  

A company web site used to develop new business opportunities for First Contact Engineering’s contract engineering services. It will show F.C.E.’s electronic design and product development capabilities.  

State general project information, goals, and relevant background information for the site. This paragraph should be a statement overview of the project as a whole.

1. What is the basic overview of the project?

Update the existing F.C.E. web site.

Briefly include background information if relevant.

2. What is the primary purpose of the project?

Attract new clients for F.C.E.’s contract engineering services.

3. What are the secondary goals of the project?

Display engineering capabilities in order to fill the client’s requirements.

4. What are the long-term goals of the project?

Develop continued business with existing customers in order to provide a constant revenue stream.

Target Audience:
Profile the target audience. Provide enough detail to enhance everyone’s understanding of who the audience is. Include user demographic information, if needed. Keep in mind when answering, what do these people care about?
Your goal with this section is to answer the following:

1. Who is my target audience. Be Specific?

Companies or individuals that are looking for someone to design electronic products or sub systems, especially related to RF and Wireless devices.

2. What does the audience want from the project?

Gain confidence that F.C.E. will be able to take their ideas and design them into the products or devices they need.

3. How can I “think like my user” in the project? Explain.

If I were a potential client, I would want to see if F.C.E. is capable of doing the work I needed done. I’d want to see examples of similar projects and get a feel of the quality of the work F.C.E. has done in the past.

Targeted Message:

First Contact Engineering – Where your idea becomes reality.

State a single-minded word or phrase that will appropriately describe the project once it is launched. No more than one sentence long.
Be succinct and clear with this message.

Asset List:
Provide a complete and detailed asset list. (Media components you will need to create and/or provide for the project.)

1. Navigation Elements (Minimum five sections)

First page will have main navigational buttons linking subject to individual pages.

2. Absolute URL’s that would enhance your project.

Include useful links to informational websites relating to electronics devices, systems and support sites.

3. Graphics/Images (per section)

Include background image 50%-70% opacity of electronic schematics, circuit boards or complete systems and sub-systems behind main frame. Main frame will show higher quality images relating to the page text.

4. Audio (per section)

Audio inclusion is unknown at this time. Perhaps a welcome message or ???

5. Video (per section)

Video inclusion is unknown at this time. Perhaps a link to a YouTube video to be produced.

6. Other - Include challenges that you feel stand in your way to complete the project.

Securing the rights to include previous client projects as “case studies”.  Projects are protected by Non Disclosure Agreements and permission to use names, images and descriptions will be necessary.
